A 1979 Dodge Lil Red Express making more than 700 horsepower lines up against a black Chevy pickup for two truck-versus-truck drag races at Toronto Motorsports Park.
And in the first race, the Chevy gets the advantage off the line.

This isn't a stock Lil Red Express. The owner previously confirmed that the truck is powered by a 505-cubic-inch Mopar engine based on a 440 big block, producing more than 700 horsepower naturally aspirated.
The drivetrain includes a 727 three-speed automatic transmission, 4.11 rear gears and a 9-inch rear end, while the truck retains a stock-style rear leaf-spring suspension.
The Lil Red Express has previously run a 10.14-second quarter mile at 130 MPH.

The video features two races between the same pair of trucks from two different camera positions.
During the rooftop-angle race, the black Chevy pickup leaves first while the Lil Red Express begins running it down through the quarter mile.
The trucks then return for another matchup from a lower trackside camera angle.
The Lil Red Express wins both races.
