A modified Eagle Talon takes on two completely different opponents in no-prep drag racing at Toronto Motorsports Park in Cayuga, Ontario.

The first-generation DSM lines up against a BMW sedan before returning to the track against a classic Chevrolet pickup.

The Eagle Talon came from Chrysler’s Eagle brand during the Diamond-Star Motors era and shared its platform with the Mitsubishi Eclipse and Plymouth Laser.

That makes the Talon an unusual part of Chrysler performance history — and a car you don’t see nearly as often at the drag strip today.
