Canada’s Fastest Trackhawk Reaches the Arm Drop Drag Racing Final
Canada’s fastest Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk took on a full field of competitors during Arm Drop Drag Racing at Toronto Motorsports Park in Cayuga, Ontario.
The red Trackhawk worked its way through the racing program and earned a place in the final round, delivering another strong performance from one of Canada’s quickest and most recognizable high-performance SUVs.
Powered by a supercharged HEMI platform and equipped with all-wheel drive, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk has become one of the most popular vehicles in modern drag racing. It combines the size and practicality of an SUV with the launch capability and acceleration normally associated with dedicated performance cars.
That combination makes the Trackhawk especially entertaining in head-to-head racing. From the starting line, the all-wheel-drive system helps put the power down quickly, while the supercharged V8 gives the SUV the acceleration needed to compete against lighter sports cars, muscle cars and purpose-built drag vehicles.
In this video, viewers can follow the Trackhawk’s progression through the Arm Drop event and watch it reach the final matchup at Toronto Motorsports Park.
