Forget the stripped-out, trailer-queen race cars; you are looking at the absolute pinnacle of modern SRT street dominance. Alain Lajoie, owner of 20 Twenty Speed, built this 2016 Dodge Challenger Hellcat with one specific goal in mind: fit all three of his kids in the back seat for an ice cream run and still lay down 860 Wheel Horsepower on pump gas. In an era where modern Mopar enthusiasts are obsessed with finicky E85 fuel mixtures and stripping out interiors, this purpose-built street sweeper stands as a brutal reminder of what pure, mechanical engineering can achieve. When you want to gap 1000WHP Trackhawks on the street and still pick up groceries in Emerald Green Metallic style, this is the exact blueprint you follow.

To truly understand the dominance of this 2016 Challenger Hellcat, you have to look beneath the OEM Dodge wide body kit. The foundation of this engine program is pure mechanical aggression. The factory 6.2L Hemi internals were completely gutted and replaced with heavy-duty forged pistons and connecting rods, ensuring the rotating assembly can handle massive supercharger pressure. To keep the top end clamped down, the block is outfitted with ARP studs and MLX head gaskets, completely eliminating the fear of lifting a head during a high-speed pull. Valve train stability is expertly managed by heavy-duty HD pushrods, while a high-volume oil pump guarantees flawless lubrication when this forged Hemi is screaming at redline. This is exactly how you build a bulletproof Mopar V8.

Speaking of boost, the factory 2.4L IHI blower has been thrown out. Sitting on top of this forged 6.2L Hemi is a massive Magnuson Stage 2 TVS 2650 supercharger, driven by a 3.49-inch pulley to force massive volumes of air into the cylinders. To feed this 2650 blower, the intake tract features a Nick Williams 108MM throttle body and a Legmaker Carbon fibre Cold air intake. The fueling demands of this 860WHP build are handled by a set of Injector Dynamics ID 1050 fuel injectors, allowing for incredibly precise fueling on premium pump gas. A UPR catch can is seamlessly integrated to keep blow-by oil out of the blower rotors, ensuring maximum efficiency during critical 60-130mph street pulls.

Heat is the absolute enemy of supercharged horsepower, especially on a heavy modern Dodge. To combat heat soak and keep Intake Air Temperatures (IATs) below ambient, this Hellcat utilizes an IC Chillers intercooler chiller system, complete with an upgraded auxiliary tank and a 3-way bypass. On the exhaust side, the engine breathes out through a set of massive American Racing 2-inch stainless steel long tube headers. These headers flow into off-road mid pipes and a full MBRP exhaust system, producing an exhaust note that sounds like raw violence.

Putting 860WHP to the pavement requires serious hardware. Power is transferred through a massive 4-inch aluminum one-piece driveshaft back to an upgraded 3.09.1 rear differential, providing aggressive gearing for brutal acceleration. The chassis is locked down using an Eibach pro kit featuring lower springs and sway bars, while a BMR cradle bushing lockout kit prevents wheel hop. This ensures the massive 315/35/20 Nitto tires mounted on OEM 5 20x11 double-spoke Bronze wheels stay glued to the street. Protected by an Igla security system, this Emerald Green Hellcat looks just as aggressive as it performs.
